Founded in 1995, Proshop now employs 350+ people and ships around 4 million packages annually to 8 countries.
We focus on electronics and products that make life easier and more enjoyable. Starting with films, games, and computers, we now offer everything from gaming and beauty to garden tools, toys, and pet supplies.

Proshop is an entrepreneurial success story.
In the mid-90s, four students sold electronics from a basement. For the first two years, they earned no salary. One of them, Poul Thyregod, is now CEO and owner.
Despite a modest start, the business grew quickly. Today, Proshop operates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Poland.

1995 – Founded in Aarhus, Denmark

2005 – Fully online business
2008 – Acquires SHG, Merlin, PRC Data
2010 – Expands to Sweden; acquires Midtdata, Getmore

We ship 4 million packages yearly across 8 countries. Inventory is stored in a high-bay warehouse with 145,000 bins stacked up to 8 meters.
Our 16,300 m² fully automated warehouse with 140 robots and automated packing systems ensures fast handling while reducing packaging and transport.

This initiative supports people outside the labor market by helping them find employment and build skills.
In cooperation with job centers, 10% of employees are hired under special conditions. The initiative received the Cabi CSR People Prize in 2022.
